CAN I CANCEL OR CHANGE MY ORDER?
Unfortunately, we cannot make any adjustments to orders once they are placed. However, we are always happy to assist you in organising an exchange, you may read our returns policy here or reach out to us at hello@strandsofsilk.com.au.
DELIVERY TIMES
All orders are sent via AusPost from our Melbourne based warehouse. You can check your estimated delivery time here. You can use your tracking number to track your parcel here.
DO YOU HAVE ANY COUPON CODES
Yes! We offer a 10% discount when you sign up to our newsletter, which pops up when you first enter our site. If you are having trouble finding it, just pop us a message through our chat in the bottom right hand corner.
This coupon may not be available during one of our sales, including our Black Friday sale. 
CAN I USE MORE THAN ONE COUPON CODE?
Our website only allows you to use one coupon code per transaction, so make sure to use the best one at checkout!

Silk sleeping caps

WHICH SIZE SHOULD I CHOOSE?

The silk sleeping cap sizing relates to the thickness and/or length of your hair. There is an adjustable tie at the back of the cap, and elastic so the cap can shrink/tighten to all head sizes. Please refer to the following sizes for the silk sleeping caps: 

S/M: Will suit you if you have straight/thin hair shorter than half way down your back. If you have curly/ extremely thick hair, we would recommend sizing up to the ML to ensure your curls aren't squashed.

M/L: Will suit you if you have curly, or long hair.

X/L: Will suit you if you have a large afro, or very long thick/curly hair.

If you are unsure with which size you should go with, we would recommend going larger to be on the safe side. You can also send us a photo of your hair if you would like us to recommend a size. 

 

ARE SILK CAPS BENEFICIAL FOR EXTENSIONS?
Wearing our silk cap will prevent your hair from getting tugged and tangled throughout the night. This may help alleviate some of the pressure on the extension bonds and will also reduce the need to brush knotted hair; helping prolong the life of your extensions. The silk cap will also help with the appearance of your extension as it helps prevent frizz, kinks and bed hair.
CAN I SLEEP WITH MY SILK PILLOWCASE/CAP WITH WET HAIR?
Both our silk caps and pillowcases should be used with dry hair.
WILL THE SILK SLEEPING CAP FIT MY CHILD? 
Our silk caps are designed for Adults, however, the smallest the S/M cap can be tightened to is 52cm. So if you are able to measure the length where a normal head band would sit and if it measures larger than 52cm the cap will fit.

Silk pillowcases

CAN I IRON MY PILLOWCASE?
Yes! Just remember to use a cool iron inside out.
CAN I MACHINE WASH MY PILLOWCASE?
Yes! Our pillowcases are made with a high grade quality silk. You can wash your silk in the washing machine on a gentle, cold wash with ph neutral detergent. We recommend using a wash bag for all of our products to protect the silk from other garments in the wash.
WHAT SIZES ARE THE PILLOWCASES?
Our pillowcases are 70cm x 50cm, which will fit any international standard/ queen size pillow. Our silk pillowcases are made with an invisible zipper, so that your pillowcase won’t fall off of your pillow. Yay!
